Welcome to Casa Juntucha! Juntucha is Spanish combined with Quechua and means “the house of gathering” or “coming together” and that is exactly what Casa Juntucha stands for!
BIENVENIDOS!
Casa Juntucha is a warm, familiar place where travelers, volunteers and locals come together. You can stay with us, take language lessons, participate in activities or volunteer at one of our affiliated projects. We rent out bicycles, but if you want a necessary bit of relaxation, you have come to the right place! We have a garden with hammocks where you can chill out.
WHEREVER, WHENEVER
Need help or support with your trip? Even then you can contact us. Just like for practical questions about, for example, public transport or the best market to buy fruit and vegetables. Also for a hug if you are homesick for a while. Fancy a city tour through Cochabamba? Or to Sucre, La Paz, Salar de Uyuni or Potosi? We are also happy to help you with this.
WHO ARE WE REALLY?
We are Eloisa, Laurie, Nadine and Mariel, four young women with a passion for travel, a knack for languages (we speak Dutch, Spanish and English) and with wings that want to take care of you when you need it – also known as our mother goose approach. Together we run Casa Juntucha. We do this in a professional way, but above all in a sweet and pleasant way; everyone is welcome!
Laurie:“Casa Juntucha makes our dream complete. With Beyond South America as a mediation agency for volunteer work and internships and Language School Juntucha, we now also offer our customers a meeting and accommodation place with Casa Juntucha. The ‘total package’ or ‘tailor-made’, depends entirely on the person and their wishes and needs.”
